Head of Procurement

The role of Procurement Manager falls under the Chief Executive Officer/Operations Manager and you will become an integral part of our marketing team. Your expertise will be critical in managing the procurement processes of the corporation across one or more defined purchasing categories, both internally and externally. Moreover, you will play a key role in the development and realization of MOMEK’s strategic and operational goals.

As Procurement Manager in MOMEK Services, you will work in teams and across the MOMEK organization, taking on the responsibility for a significant contract portfolio

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement procurement processes, from strategy and planning to supplier selection and follow-up, for both framework agreements and individual agreements.
  • Contribute to the further development of the procurement area in MOMEK. This includes:
    • Establish digital tools to ensure that processes for procurement are standarized and optimized.
    • Actively work to develop and improve the organization’s procurement systems.
    • Develop, establish, and monitor framework agreements with customers and suppliers.
    • Participate in and contribute to supplier audits in relation to rules, regulations and MOMEKs values.
    • Engage in calculations, contract, and bid reviews.
    • Evaluate, negotiate and award contracts.
    • Work with suppliers to optimize supplier cost.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in all aspects of the procurement process and able to document results from procurement work.
  • Higher technical, economic, or legal education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
  • Negotiation skills, preferably with international experience.

  • You are at least bi-lingual in norwegian and english, and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You excel at building relationships and have a strong ability to cooperate and elevate others.
  • You have good business understanding, grasp the drivers of results and markets.
  • You are creative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • You have a high degree of execution ability.
