What are data points & behavioral data and why do we use it?

The use of data points and behavioral data is what differentiates us most from our competitors – but what does that actually mean? And why is it used to promote jobs?

What are data points?

Data points are pieces of information about users within a target audience that can be used to promote similar job positions to the same user at a later time. The data points are collected from tracking points placed on a job ad. A data point is created when the user accepts “cookies”.

How do we know what type of position they have shown interest in?
Job ads are tagged and categorized so that data points are collected within the category assigned to the position.

Why is it used?
The data points are used to promote job positions to an audience that has shown interest in similar roles to the one you are recruiting for. This helps expose your position to the most relevant audience possible.

What are behavioral data?

Behavioral data is information about traffic development on your job ad. It shows the extent to which your position engages the target audience.

Engagement is measured based on how many tracking points on the job ad are activated, depending on the time spent and activities performed.

This insight is used to improve marketing by analyzing how well your position resonates with the audience and where it generates the most engagement.
